Prayer

Prayer is central to our life as a church. We believe God hears, cares and acts — and so we regularly gather to pray for one another, our community and the wider world.

You don’t need to be a member of the church to ask for prayer. If you would like someone to pray for you, we would be glad to do so.

Weekly Prayer (Online)

We meet on Zoom every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00–9:20am.

These short, focused times of prayer include thanksgiving and praying for needs within the church, our local community, national issues and situations around the world. Anyone is welcome to join.

Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) Prayer

Each month we join with other local churches for a Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) prayer gathering, where we pray together about issues affecting New Milton and the shared outreach of churches across the town.

It’s a simple but powerful expression of unity and shared concern for our community.

Prayer After Sunday Services

Every Sunday morning, members of our Prayer Ministry Team are available after the service to pray with anyone who would like prayer — whether for something personal, practical or spiritual.

There is no pressure and no expectation — just a quiet space and someone willing to stand with you in prayer.

Prayer During the Week

Many of our volunteers are also happy to pray with people during our regular weekly activities if that would be helpful.

We also operate a confidential prayer chain. Urgent requests can be shared with a trusted network within the church who will pray promptly.

Extended Times of Prayer

At different points in the year we hold extended times of prayer, including prayer rooms and occasional 24/7 prayer weeks as part of the wider 24-7 Prayer movement. These provide space for deeper reflection, creativity and sustained prayer for our church and community.

If you would like more information about any of these gatherings, or if you would like to request prayer, please contact the church office.
