Rev. David John, our Senior Minister, grew up in Hastings and studied English at university. He spent six years as a Secondary School teacher before entering full-time ministry. He trained at Spurgeon's College and has pastored Churches in Hastings, Battle, Gillingham and Worthing. He and Alison moved to Ashley in 2009. He enjoys reading, going to the Opera and playing music.
Rev. Alison John, our Assistant Minister, comes from Bristol, and worked as a physicist before the children were born. After some time in Adult Education she became a Spiritual Advisor for a group of residential homes in Kent. She completed her training at Spurgeon's College, with a special interest in sharing the love of Jesus with older people. She enjoys playing music and walking.
Rachel White, Our Children’s and Youth Pastor is originally from Warrington, and studied drama at Edge Hill University. Rachel then worked for Spring Harvest Holidays in France, and shortly after in January 2013 moved to the South Coast in to start her role at ABC. Since moving to the New Forest, Rachel has met and married her husband Jonathan White. In her spare time she loves to spend time at the beach or going for walks in the forest, and always loves to meet up with her family and friends!
Jenny Stickland, Our Families Pastoral Worker, grew up in Redhill, Surrey, and qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1984. She has been involved at ABC for over 30 years, and has recently taken on the role of families work on a part time basis. In her spare time she enjoys the company of family and friends.
Esther Ghoojamanian, our Church Administrator grew up in New Malden, in Surrey but moved to the New Forest in 2007. She worked for IBM for many years and has many years working in an office environment.
